Hello and Merry Christmas! I just discovered your link and I have a question. My Dad was an American serviceman stationed in Glatton with the 457th Bomb Squad. I’d love to know more about his time there and see if anyone or their elders remember him. I’d love to leave a small bio and picture on your site and maybe on any bulletin boards you might have. Could I do that? Thanks so much………..Debbi

There is a website, http://www.457thbombgroupassoc.org. The webmaster is Erwin DeMooy, apparently living in Holland but brilliant and very helpful. I am reliably informed that a small group coming over this May, I believe that it will be, at least, mainly families wanting to retain the connection, to keep the association going and of course for the memories.
The organiser at this end is (email / tim.newell@ymail.com & ang.newell@ymail.com.

Morning Dan. Right off the top of my head, I believe dad was the 750th. It would’ve been great if they’d known one another. I’m so thankful for this website and the kind people who have replied.
